21.01.2024 On January 21, 2024 Doha hosted the 6th round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Qatar. The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister Evgeny Shestakov. The Qatari delegation was headed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Dr Ahmad Al Hammadi. In a friendly atmosphere, the sides discussed a wide range of bilateral, regional and international issues. The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, received a message from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, on the key issues of the development of bilateral relations. The message was gratefully received and covered by the Qatari media. The heads of the delegations discussed the schedule of the forthcoming bilateral events. The sides stressed the interest in intensifying the exchange of high-level visits.
